MAC Room at the Jewish Community Campus
The program is open to the entire community and will feature a panel discussion about what to consider when expanding your family.
Panelists include: Karen Arnovitz Grinzaid, JScreen Executive Director; Dr. Daniel Kort, a reproductive endocrinologist and Neway Associate Director; and Debra Orbuch Grayson, Jewish Family Services Clinical Manager and therapist. Annie Glickman, Director of The Priya Fund for Jewish Reproduction, will serve as moderator. A question and answer session will follow the panel.
Genetic screening is available for those 21 to 40 through J-Screen. There is a nominal charge for the J-Screen testing thanks to the generous underwriting of the Romotsky-Price-Cortes Genetic Testing Fund. Those interested in screening need to pre-register at J-Screen on line.
Childcare is available by advance reservation.
This program is led by the Jewish Community Center, Jewish Family Services, the Priya Fund for Jewish Reproduction and J-Screen. It is sponsored by the Jewish Community Foundation, Jewish Federation of Greater Kansas City, the Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy, TribeKC, PJ Library, J-Lead, and the Rabbinic Association of Greater Kansas City.
