Driving Risk Awareness: for Teens and Parents

Teens’ risk of being in a car crash is at a lifetime high in their first 12 to 24 months of driving!  A workshop offered by CHAI, will be on Sunday, February 3 from 10 – 11:45am at the JCC in Conference Room C.  This workshop is open to 9th and 10th graders and their parents.  This workshop includes: providing a realistic picture of the risks of teen driving, providing a practical advice on ways families can reduce teen driving risks, and promoting teen-parent involvement and cooperation in teen driving, and creating a teen-parents driving agreement.  This workshop is free, but reservations are required.  Contact Susie Hurst at 913-327-8259 or susieh@jfskc.org.
