2nd Annual Boogie to Broadway
Community members of all ages had a great time audtitioning for our 2nd annual clash of the choirs event – Boogie to Broadway. Lots of folks made it a family affair and brought a spouse, kids and grandkids to audition with them. And naturally, familiy members will sing in the same choir.
Audtion results will be announced by mid March. Boogie to Broadway will be held June 13, 2010, so there’ll be plenty of time for rehearsal.
The three girls in this photo all brought their grandmothers to participate with them and were so excited, saying it was almost like trying out for American Idol. Needless to say it was a fun couple of days for all involved!

Boogie to Broadway is a fun, family-friendly music competition. Thanks to the following representatives from local synagogues who will be directing the community choirs to perform songs ranging from pop hits to Broadway classics.
