Listen Up! How to be a Positive Parent
JFS Child & Family Therapist Wendy Anderson will share proven strategies and insight on how to motivate children to cooperate and connect without drama, meltdowns and power struggles. All while you remain a cool and in-control parent!
Wendy will focus on strategies for healthy problem solving, balancing love and discipline, limit setting, and improving parent-child communication.

The program is open to any parent of preschool or elementary-aged children.

Anderson earned her bachelor’s degree in social work at the University of Kansas, and her master’s degree in social work from the University of Denver. Her focus has primarily been with children and families, with an emphasis on family systems, cognitive behavioral therapy and play therapy.
