Support Groups

JFS offers three support groups to help the community. All sessions are free and open to the general public. All groups meet at our Missouri office located at 8080 Ward Parkway, Suite 350 Kansas City, MO from 6:00-7:30 pm.

Care Giver Support Group- This group is for people caring for an elderly or sick family member or a special needs child. This group is led by Laura Breitberg.

Healthy Grieving Support Group- This group is for those who have lost a loved one and are dealing with grief and loss. We focus on learning strategies to grieve in a healthy way. The group is led by a professional therapist.

Divorce Recovery Group- This group is open to anyone who has gone through, or is currently going through, a divorce. The group offers support, understanding, and a chance to learn from shared experiences.
