Join us in The J parking lot for an epic throwback to the Princess Bride. This hysterical fairy tale adventure about a beautiful young woman and her one true love will have everyone in the family laughing. He must find her after a long separation and save her. They must battle the evils of the mythical kingdom of Florin to be reunited with each other. Based on the William Goldman novel “The Princess Bride” which earned its own loyal audience.

COVID-19 has stopped a lot of things but not the menstrualcycle, (periods). Therefore, we are excited to move forward with our signatureevent that has impacted over 50,000 women and girls since November 30,2013, the launch of the organization. The purpose of the feminine drive is to b1ingawareness to END DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, support domestic violence survivors and theshelters in which they live, support natural disaster survivors and those inneed of feminine care locally and across the globe with period products. Periodpoverty is a world problem that we mission to solve.
· We ask that you/your organization drive-thru anddonate period products, the items of dignity listed below, and or financialcontributions.
· The domestic violence shelters and organizationswe serve will drive-thru and receive enough period products for a year or more!The organizations and shelters that we serve are excited to receive annually.

The JFS Food Pantry continues to serve more people facingfood insecurity. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the number of peoplereceiving food support through two pantry locations has more than doubled toabout 900 people monthly.
JFS needs the support of the community to keep pantryshelves stocked. The RabbinicalAssociation of Greater Kansas City will host a community food drive from 10a.m. to noon on Sunday, Dec. 20. Membersof the community are asked to drop off high need items like CANS OF SOUP,CRACKERS, and SANITIZING WIPES at The J KC. Following COVID safety protocols,JFS Food Pantry staff and volunteers will be on hand to take donations for thepantry during this drive-thru food drive
“The Rabbinical Association has been a great partner to keepCongregations engaged in supporting the JFS Food Pantry,” said Jo Hickey, JFSFood Pantry Director. “We could not serve families at the level we do withouttheir support.”
JFS encourages individuals, businesses, organizations,schools, youth groups, and neighborhoods to host a food drive for JFS. If youwould like to host a food drive, please email fooddrive@jfskc.org or call FoodPantry Director Jo Hickey at (913) 327-8257. JFS will drop off barrels or totesfor your collection and pick up the donations after your drive. Promotionalmaterials to help include posters, email templates, and social media are alsoavailable.
