JFS is excited to partner with both the Kansas City Public Library and PJ Library to present Caring Through Play, a Parenting Skills Workshop. Kerry Scott, JFS Clinical Therapist, will teach attendees about Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). PCIT is a skill-based perspective that allows parents to enter a child’s world to explore ways to connect.
This program is designed for adult education and children ages three and under are welcome. Childcare will not be provided. For more information, please email Jodi Perelmuter, JFS’s Family Life Educator at jperelmuter@jfskc.org.
