Unless otherwise noted, all events are held at the Jewish Community Campus, 5801 W. 115th Street, Overland Park, KS. Some events require an RSVP or enrollment in our programs, so please confirm your spot in advance. Please check directly with JFS on program dates, as dates may change.
We hope you can attend our annual Friends of the Family Breakfast on August 21st at Grand Street Café. The breakfast is a great opportunity to learn about how JFS serves the great Kansas City community. This year we are happy to announce that Jason Kander will be our special guest! He will talk about his experience with PTSD and his struggle with mental health issues.
The event is an entertaining hour with KCPT’s Nick Haines interviewing staff and clients; sharing the stories of how JFS helps those in need. It is a touching, heartfelt event. Please let me know if you can attend. I would love to introduce you to all of the good work JFS does in the community. The invitation is attached with further details.
