“When I painted “Falling Rain” I was tucked away in my studio on a remote California ranch. Heavy rain had started and the sound was thundering overhead. The rush of wind and rain was exhilarating. It took me over and the paint began to flow.”
Her paintings can be found at The Art Spirit Gallery in Coeur d’Alene, ID as well as online at ruthandre.com.

“Life is my biggest inspiration. I walk through vignettes that call for me to paint them. An avid gardener, I tend the beds daily and have several feeders dotted around the gardens. The simple act of painting them brightened my days and my outlook on the difficult days ahead.”
