Kesher KC Food Pantries
The Kesher KC pantries are well-stocked and open. Groceries are by appointment on a drive-up basis. Delivery is available for older adults and others within our service area that are unable to leave home.
Support for Basic Needs
Social workers are providing telephonic support and connection with critical resources and assistance. If you have lost employment or income and are experiencing difficulties meeting basic needs, please call to talk about available resources to help improve your financial security.
Mental Health Support
Mental health counselors are providing therapy by video or telephonically. If you are in need of emotional support or counseling, mental health services are available, accessible, and provided regardless of ability to pay.
Older Adult Services
Care managers are ensuring older adults have access to food and other necessities, medication, essential transportation and home repair services. Calling Connections volunteers are providing regular social support with check-in calls.

In-person events have been be canceled for the foreseeable future. Many have transitioned to online formats. Please refer to this abbreviated list or check our website calendar for updates.
- The Food Pantry is still accepting in-kind food donations. No-contact drop-off is offered in donation barrels at The JCC, Monday through Friday, 7am – 6pm or Brookside East, Monday through Friday, 10am – 3pm.
- The Grief & Loss Support Group meets virtually twice monthly. >> More information.
- Friends of the Family events have been postponed. We are exploring alternate dates and ways to deliver the same meaningful program to you. Stay tuned for more information.
We have been happily overwhelmed by people calling to volunteer. We appreciate every email and phone call! At the present time, we are utilizing a large pool of already trained JFS volunteers and staff to adapt our programs to today’s reality. Please follow us on Facebook where we will post requests when additional volunteers are needed or when we have last minute needs. Thank you for your concern and willingness to help!
