Mindful Mondays 2022 (April 18 to August 29) @ Virtual

JFSKC’s Mental Health Programs Team is pleased to announce that it will continue to offer the free virtual Mindful Mondays program from 11:30 AM to Noon.

Sondra Wallace, MSED, JFS YouBeYou, and Mental Health Coalition Coordinator, and Julia Grimm, LMLP, JFS Therapist will lead our Mindful Mondays sessions. Mindfulness is an evidence-based practice and focused on being aware of what an individual is sensing and feeling in the moment without interpretation of judgment.

Mindful Mondays are free, but registration is required. Once registered, participants will receive a link to join each session. Participants may attend one or all virtual sessions. Mindful Mondays will not take place on May 30, June 20, and July 4 as JFSKC’s offices are closed.

“A mindfulness practice means that we commit fully in each moment to be present; inviting ourselves to interface with this moment in full awareness, with the intention to embody as best we can an orientation of calmness, mindfulness, and equanimity right here and right now.” – Jon Kabat-Zinn
