Help JFS collect period products this March for Go With The Flow – A Period Products Drive.
The Alliance of Period Products found that one in five women nationwide report missing work, school, or other commitments due to the lack of access to period supplies. JFS is collecting period products for our two pantries through our Go with the Flow period products drive!
The Go With the Flow period products drive encourages Kansas City businesses, organizations, youth groups, and neighborhoods to help our neighbors in need.
Host Your Own Drive:
- 1. Assemble your group: Gather your friends, family members, coworkers, and neighbors.
2. Collect period products: Donate pads (most requested item), tampons, liners, and menstrual cups.
3. Bring your donations: Once you have gathered the period products, bring your donations to our JFS offices at either Brookside or the Jewish Community Campus. You can also schedule a pick-up for your collection.
4. Post on social media: If you are on social media, feel free to tag Jewish Family Services of Greater Kansas City on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Add our official hashtag: #GoWithTheFlowJFSKC.
