JFS Hanukkah Project

Planning is underway for Hanukkah. Many families continue to struggle to make ends meet. With your help, more than 300 people will feel the warmth and light of Hanukkah this year thanks to your participation in the JFS Hanukkah Project!

How to Get Involved

Donate Gift Cards

Help make the holiday a little brighter for more than 300 individuals including children and older adults by participating in our annual Hanukkah Project. All of our families and individuals have been adopted, but we still need donations of gift cards!

Gift cards allow individuals and families to choose correct sizes and styles, shop for groceries, or surprise a family member.

Donate to JFS, and we will purchase the gift cards for you! Donate online or mail or deliver checks to JFS offices at the Jewish Community Campus or in Brookside at 425 E. 63rd St., Kansas City. You can also purchase gift cards in $25 increments from Target, Walmart, or Amazon and drop them off at our offices. The deadline to purchase gift cards is November 10th.
