Jewish Family Services of Greater Kansas City was named a beneficiary of the 2022 AdventHealth Championship’s Play It Forward Matching Gift Program.
AdventHealth Shawnee Mission has named Jewish Family Services of Greater Kansas City one of 11 beneficiaries of its professional golf tournament’s matching gift program: Play It Forward.
Play It Forward supports 501©(3) organizations in the Kansas City community by providing a platform to raise new money and gain awareness through their causes. This initiative allows the nonprofits to receive every cent raised and a 10 percent match on the first $10,000 it raises. No minimum must be raised to receive the match.
Until April 30, JFS staff, volunteers, donors, and supporters have the opportunity to raise money for this great matching opportunity. Funds from the Play it Forward Matching Gift Program will be used to provide in-house counseling services to our Family Empowerment Program (FEP) clients. For each $1,000 raised, the match provided by Play It Forward will fund an additional counseling session for a family in crisis.
On Sunday, May 22, Jewish Family Services of Greater Kansas City will be presented its Play It Forward proceeds during the championship’s trophy presentation on the 18th green.
