Join us for this interactive session to learn the importance of self-care and how to develop a more compassionate and supportive relationship with yourself. Self-care is key to improved mood, reduced anxiety, and depression. Through discussion and activities, build new skills you can incorporate into your daily routine that will enhance your enjoyment of life and help create a greater state of inner calm.
Lauren Glass, LCSW
Lauren is a licensed clinical social worker at JFS in Kansas & Missouri. A registered yoga instructor, she uses evidence-based mindfulness practices, positive self-talk, cognitive behavioral therapy, breathing exercises, yoga & other mind/body-oriented tools & techniques in her practice.
Kathleen Halling, LPC
Kathleen is a licensed professional counselor at JFS. A former teacher and administrator, she returned to school to become a counselor and play therapist. She enjoys working with people of all ages and has served individuals and families at a domestic violence shelter and in private practice settings.
