As we age, some things in life become more challenging. JFS is here with comprehensive and compassionate care to help older adults live healthy, independent and meaningful lives. Programs address aging-related issues such as support to maintain a home, transportation, health, mobility, grief, isolation, emotional concerns, and more.
Provides high quality, dependable minor home repairs and access to services helping adults ages 60 and older maintain their independence at home. With Help@Home, individuals get the peace of mind they need to stay in control of their daily lives for as long as they choose to stay in their homes. Learn more.
Provides access to transportation for individualized needs and promotes older adult independence through education and advocacy. Several transportation options exist. Learn more.
Care Management connects older adults to a professional Care Manager or Social Worker to partner closely in planning for the future or managing a crisis. Learn more.
Tech Connect equips older adults with a tablet, assists with internet access, and trains them during a 10-week virtual course how to use their new device. Learn more.
We assist survivors and their families to access benefits including community resources, financial entitlements and homecare services. Learn more.
With aging, it is not uncommon to feel sad about retirement, health problems, being lonely or the loss of friends or a loved one. A continuum of services at JFS provides confidential referrals to counseling, spiritual care, grief and loss support, crisis and financial assistance. Your Care Manager will assist in finding referrals for other needs you may have.
