Alzheimer’s disease is the most common form of dementia with approximately 5.8 million Americans are living with this disease and the number is projected to nearly triple to 14 million people by 2060 according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Learn how to recognize the common signs of Alzheimer’s disease when the Learn Laugh & Love series continues with a hybrid online and in-person presentation, “The 10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer’s.”
Participants will also learn how to approach someone about memory concerns; the importance of early detection and benefits of a diagnosis; possible tests and assessments for the diagnostic process, and Alzheimer’s Association resources. The free program is presented by the Alzheimer’s Association, Heart of America Chapter.
