Come and learn about self-care! This workshop will cover a number of tactics that can reduce your stress, increase your emotional and mental resiliency, and help you take care of YOU! Participants will learn about mindfulness techniques, practice breathing and grounding exercises, and create their own self-care tools for managing stress in-the-moment.

About Sarah Chao:
Sarah has a Bachelor’s degree in Russian and an MA in Slavic Languages and Literature. Her expertise brought her to Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, and finally back to the US as a teacher and facilitator. At JFS, Sarah works directly with Russian-speaking clients and assists with Russian Language facilitation across all programs. She recently leads efforts in the areas of Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) and Mindfulness, through working groups and training sessions for JFS staff, community partners, and clients.
